It was a rainy afternoon last January 12, 2008 when Aiden was baptized in the Church of the Holy Sacrifice in U.P. Diliman. There's a saying that when it rains blessings descend from the heavens and for sure Aiden and his family received a lot on that very special day! Charlie and I have attended several baptisms already and this is the first time that we were able to meet a very accommodating priest who even suggested to us which area to stay in the altar for us to get better shots : )
Aiden's family is based in Istanbul, Turkey and one of the reasons they came home was for Aiden to receive the sacrament of baptism. After the ceremony in the church an intimate gathering was held in HEAT restaurant in Edsa Shangrila Hotel with family and friends that Aiden's mom have not seen for quite a while.
