Last October 18, 2008 Johann celebrated his 9th birthday in Global Gutz, Philippine Army Fun Club in Fort Bonifacio. Johann invited his classmates and friends from school. All of them were really excited for the paintball game. It was our first time to cover a birthday party with an outdoor paintball activity and we realized that we were also up for a challenge! Charlie had to go inside the "battlefield" area and he had to wear a protective mask which gave him a hard time to take pictures. He also had to hide behind the obstacles to cover himself (and the camera) so that he won't get hit by the paint pellets. It was like covering a real-life encounter! Ady Turns 1!

It was a Hello Kitty themed party for Ady last September 6, 2008. Her party was held in the Banquet Hall of the Stone Crest Clubhouse in San Pedro Laguna. We met Ady's family last year when we covered her baptism.

Since then, she has grown so fast! Ady is a very pretty and active one year old! She would respond happily to the music that she hears. She appears to be a very independent child at such an early age. Mommy Sheh made her sit on a high chair so she can attend to some guests and details of the party and there wasn't any problem for Ady. She just sat there without making any tantrums even when she was left on her own considering that there were a lot of people in the party. Other kids would cling to their parents in such scenarios.

Daddy Amiel came all the way from Abu Dhabi to attend her precious daughter's party. Relatives of Ady are all very proud of her. Below are some shots taken during the event. Thank you to the family for making us again a part of this special celebration. Click here for more pictures.

Since I enjoy making layouts, we thought of making customized invitation and thank you card layouts for our clients . It is now part of our freebie when you get our service! It's an addition from the personalized disc case cover that we also do. Clients have an option which one they would prefer to have. They'll just give us the theme of the event, if there is, and then we'll start making the layout that would fit for their event. Afterwards, we'll send the client a draft of the layout that we did thru e-mail so they can inform us of any changes they would want in the font, background color, decoration etc. When it is all finalized, we'll be sending the final copy to them and they can have it printed in any printing shop! This would really save a lot of their time which they could use in preparation of other details in their event and the best thing is it's for free!

Our Anniversary

Tomorrow, July 19, will be our first year anniversary as husband and wife. Because of this, I made a layout for Charlie. It is actually my first layout for him. I'm sure he will be surprised if he sees this! The picture that I used here was taken a year ago during our wedding. We haven't had a picture together recently that's why I was telling him that we should go to a studio and have our picture taken (but he said we'll use tripod na lang daw! hehehe!).

In behalf of Charlie, I would like to thank our families & friends for all the support that they have given us ever since the beginning of our relationship. I would also want to give gratitude to our clients who have trusted us to cover their events which made our year more exciting!

Sweet Sixteen

Over the Holy Week break Charlie and I stayed at my parent's house in Laguna and we just spent our time relaxing with my family. Since we didn't have much to do we asked my sister, Jasmin, to be our model and of course she was very eager to be one! We told her that this would be a preparation for her already when she celebrates her debut in two years time. However, she will be in Canada by that time so we are taking the opportunity to make her pose for our camera while she's still here. Our photography "career" began during the celebration of my nephew's 1st birthday last year. I was actually the one who was taking shots of the event using our digital point and shoot camera, while Charlie (my boyfriend then, now my husband) was taking the video. We didn't see ourselves getting more serious into photography until my sister encouraged us. We are very happy that family and friends have been very supportive of us since the beginning.

JM turned two last February 3, 2008. They had a simple celebration at their house and of course we were there to witness the special event. My nephews and niece had fun playing with the balloons that Lolo Boy and Lola Helen brought. We shared a sumptuous merienda and we had fun spending time with our family whom Charlie and I miss since we live quite far from them. Here are some shots that Tito Charlie took.

CJ Turns One!

This event is very special for my husband and I because almost a year ago CJ's family was our very first client in photography. They got us to cover the dedication of CJ. According to Mommy Lara and Daddy Chris one of the reasons they chose us as their photographer was because we have the same name as CJ! We are very happy because once again they entrusted us to cover his 1st birthday!

Last January 26, 2007 they prepared a Winnie the Pooh themed party held at the Valle Verde 6 Clubhouse. CJ has grown fast! Last year, he was asleep in most of his shots but now it's delightful to see his different expressions. It was a challenge for everyone to keep CJ's attention when we were taking some shots but Mommy and Daddy were very patient. Actually they're one of the couples we have worked with who are very game to pose for the camera with beautiful smiles on their faces.We're glad that we got the chance to share this wonderful celebration with them. Chloe together with her family and friends had tons of fun during the celebration of her 1st birthday last January 19, 2008 at Bounce in Rosario, Pasig. It was our first time to attend a party held in that venue and it's unlike the other birthday celebrations we have covered. Everybody, including the adults, enjoyed playing with the inflatables and other toys in the play area.
It was good that Chloe was feeling well that day because according to her Mom, she was a bit sick. They just came from U.S. a week prior to the party and they were still adjusting to the weather here since it is winter season there. Chloe can already walk and run on her own so, she was really able to explore and have fun! Here are some shots during the party. Akira Louis was baptized last January 13, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Church in Citihomes, Molino, Cavite. It was followed by a reception at the Circle Island Resort which is near the village. We relatively live near the area but it was our first time to go there. The resort is nice, very ideal for family gatherings because of the function halls that they have. Some guests of Akira were already dipping in the pool when we came. Akira is the first grandchild in the family that's why Mommy Eloisa said that he is a "star" for them. It was a rainy afternoon last January 12, 2008 when Aiden was baptized in the Church of the Holy Sacrifice in U.P. Diliman. There's a saying that when it rains blessings descend from the heavens and for sure Aiden and his family received a lot on that very special day! Charlie and I have attended several baptisms already and this is the first time that we were able to meet a very accommodating priest who even suggested to us which area to stay in the altar for us to get better shots : )

Aiden's family is based in Istanbul, Turkey and one of the reasons they came home was for Aiden to receive the sacrament of baptism. After the ceremony in the church an intimate gathering was held in HEAT restaurant in Edsa Shangrila Hotel with family and friends that Aiden's mom have not seen for quite a while. The 1st birthday celebration of An Rigelle Almazan or Rain was held last January 5, 2008 at the poolside of Cypress Point Tower, Bonifacio Ridge, Global City. The weather was just right that afternoon, it was not that hot with a little breeze in the air just precise for the party. Rain wore a pretty pink long gown like a debutant and she wore it without any fuss during the entire celebration! It was a Dora fairytale birthday party prepared by Arabella's parents last December 29, 2007. The function hall in Astoria Plaza Suites in Ortigas was transformed into a magical kingdom with the colorful decorations and balloons. Children came in with their beautiful royal costumes and some adults came in wearing a crown. Prices were given to the best dressed boy and girl. The kids enjoyed the puppet and magic shows. Joaquin's 2nd Birthday

We celebrated the 2nd birthday of our nephew Joaquin last November 25, 2007. His birthday was actually on the 26th and it's a Monday that's why we celebrated it earlier. Joaquin is a very active boy! He loves to pretend that he is "Spiderman" or "Zaido". His mommy was suppose to get a spiderman cake for him but it wasn't available so he just had a batman cake which he also liked.

Balloons and balls are his favorite things in the world! (as of now..he he) He has this fascination with things that are round shaped. His eyes would go big when he sees these things in the mall and wouldn't go home until he gets one, good thing they're not that expensive. That's why during the celebration balloons were scattered all over the house. Joaquin together with his two cousins Kaila and JM, really enjoyed playing with the balloons. Joztiene is the second baby in the family. He is very cute! He looked like a big boy with his attire that day. Althea Dominique was baptized last November 18, 2007 at the Mother of Good Counsel Parish in Chrysanthemum Village, San Pedro. She is the first baby in the family that's why her family and relatives adore her very much. The reception was held at Max's Restaurant in Biñan. Kate celebrated her 3rd birthday last November 17, 2007 at Burger King Timog, Quezon City. Her Mommy is one of my close friends. Kate is a very active girl. Even before the party started, she was already dancing and singing her favorite songs from the High School Musical sound track. Take note, she knows the lyrics of every song! November of last year, Charlie and I attended the wedding of our dear friends Jackie and Earl. Now they're celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary but this time with a new addition to their family, Baby Tim! Timothy Isaac received the sacrament of baptism at St. Francis of Assisi church in Pasig last November 17, 2007 followed by a reception at Jade Palace restaurant. It was a Sesame Street themed party held at the 49th floor of One San Miguel Avenue Condominium prepared for Ryumi Miakka by her parents last October 28, 2007. The place was very pleasing with all the colorful balloon decors and backdrop. Mia, the adorable birthday celebrant, wore a cute pink dress with a tiny ballerina shoes. The kids had a lot of fun with the games and the puppet and magic shows. They also enjoyed when Elmo came out to have fun with them. Erica Maxine celebrated her 1st birthday last October 20, 2007 at West Greenhills clubhouse. She wore a pretty dress with a tiara like a princess! Last October 7, 2007, Clare Nicole De Leon celebrated her 7th birthday at Kamayan Restaurant in Edsa. Last September 30, 2007 we were very happy to be a part of Nikka's grand 7th birthday celebration held at Heritage Hotel in Roxas Boulevard. The venue was very festive and so as the celebrant. She had several wardrobes lined up for the party! She was like a celebrity changing from one dress to another. Nikka is very talented! She serenaded her guests with a song number and entertained them with two dance numbers together with her classmates and cousins. It was a delight to watch their own version of the "Deal or No Deal" game show wherein they also had "briefcase girls" wearing costumes!

Charlie and I would like to thank the parents of Nikka and Jed Uy of Party Perks, the main photographer during Nikka's party, for making us part of the celebration. Here are some shots that we took during the party.

Last August 5, 2007 Gabby celebrated her 1st Birthday at Dads, Alabang Town Center. Purple, orange and pink were the colors for the afternoon since Dora the Explorer was the theme of her birthday. Gabby dressed up like Dora and she also wore a very cute backpack! The magic show was a wonderful treat for the guests after a very hearty meal. Maegan and Kim are cousins and they celebrated their 7th birthday together! Both were like princesses with their little tiaras and pretty dresses. The guests enjoyed the games! Most of them had the chance to participate with the activities that the host prepared. Kids loved the face painting booth and the small "salon" where they can have their hair fixed with different styles of their choice.

June 7, 2007 was an exciting day for me because it’s my best friend’s wedding! Ann and I have been friends since college. Her family has always welcomed me warmly to their home and it really meant a lot to me since I stayed away from my family during college years. I am very happy for Ann and Jeff because I know that they have prepared hard for their special day. Ann was very beautiful! I could see how happy she was especially when she was walking down the aisle.

Charlie got the chance to capture photos during the wedding and he was very fortunate because he had the chance to closely observe how wedding photographers do their thing. Who knows, we might also cover weddings in the future :)

To Ann and Jeff, congratulations again and we’ll see you during our inaanak’s baptism!

We were delighted with our celebrant Isza because she loves to look at the camera! We were able to capture cute and happy moments of her together with mommy and daddy as well as the guests. Charlie, Albert and I were very excited to cover this event! We met up with Lara , CJ's mom, a few weeks earlier and she is very nice to us! She told us that she really wanted to get a photographer to make sure that every special moment will be captured during the dedication since CJ is their first baby.

CJ is a very adorable baby! When you look at him, he makes you want to hug him! On the other hand, he was asleep the entire time of the dedication. Relatives and friends have been waiting for him to wake up but he just started to rouse towards the end of the celebration .

We were very happy with the family and guests because they were all very game to pose for the camera. We had a great time and we want to say thanks to CJ's family!

It was a very special occasion for the Perez family last Sunday April 15, 2007. The newest member of their family, Aldrich Guile, was baptized. He was born last March 17, 2007. It was actually a double celebration for them because it's Aldous' 3rd birthday, Aldrich's elder brother. They had the reception at a resort which was very timely because it was so hot that day! The guests, especially the kids had a really great time!

The following photos were the first ones that Charlie and I took when we bought our digital SLR. We were in my sister's house trying out our new "toy". While we were occupied reading the manual and learning the "how to's" my little niece Kaila was also busy going through the stuff in my bag!

Look at what she's found! She seemed like a pro applying all the different colors on her lips :) Take note, nobody helped her to put them on and she's pretty good at it huh!

Jasmin graduated last March 31, 2007 as 8th honorable mention of their batch in Christian Science Academy. She also received other special awards like Best in Conduct, Dancer of the Year and Homemaker of the Year. The whole family is very happy and proud of her!
